Alert!! Decades Final Project!

Students for your final exam you will be doing a decades project. All projects are due May 12th. No exceptions will be made. So plan ahead.

Directions: For this project you can work with other students in our AP classes or outside. If you are working with other AP students, your group is limited to 4 students unless it is an exceptional project like an original play.

Steps:

1. Decide if you want to do it by yourself or with others.
2. Pick a decade starting from the 1920s to the 1990s.
3. Pick a specific topic you want to focus on such as: art, music, literature, radio/television, movies, fashion, dance, advertising, trends/fads,technology, sports and leisure.
4. Decide what you want to do to showcase your topic such as: videos ( 4 people per group), website (3 people per group), facebook page (2 people per group), photo shoots ( 3 people per group), a play (4 people per group), animation (3 people per group) etc. If you want to work on your own then you can do collages (poster sized) or 15 power point slide show. If you have other ideas please check with me and get my approval.

Requirements:

1. 2 page essay discussion, description, and analysis of the topic you have chosen. This must be typed, double-spaced and email to me by Monday, May 12th along with your project. Don’t forget my email is: asilivongxay@yumaunion.org.

Since I want all of you do something different, you need to make a comment below and put the following info:

1. Name(s) of group member
2. Class period
3. Decade
4. Topic

For example: Anasone, 3rd period, 1920s fashion fads. It’s first come first serve. Good luck!
