2. Take the practice test for chapter 27 & 28. Email the result to me. Make sure you put your name and class period so I can give proper credit. Whatever you get on the quiz will be your actual grade so I suggest you look over the notes first before taking the test. If you want to get ahead you may due so. From the list, pick four topics that you want to write an essay on. Essay must be typed, double- spaced, at least 2 pages, and Times New Roman.

ACT and SAT Test Taking Strategy

Students, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you guys a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am so proud of your efforts in class this first semester! I helped you as much as I can. You guys make me job fun, exciting, and inspiring! Rest up and enjoy your holiday with your friends and family. I know I will!

For those of you who would like to get ahead. You can start by doing the interactive notebook for chapters 30, 31, & 32. Make sure you look at your handouts especially the information about the output( there’s over 31 ideas on what you can put on the left side of your paper to show your understanding of the material). Remember, you should have at least 3 output such as pictures, questions, summaries, graphs, charts etc. Pick up your notebook from my class by Wednesday.

Go to our class website and take practice tests for chapters 24, 25, 26. For chapters 25 & 26 I will not cover it in class as a lecture so please make sure you look over notes. However we will watch Americathe Story of Us about the main concepts for these two chapters. Make sure you email it today. After you are done, at the same site, click on the link on the left side of your page that says flashcards. These are the vocabulary for each chapter. Make sure you become familiar with it and study it for pop quizzes. Then you are going to write a learning log: what did you LEARNED what did you find INTERESTING and what five QUESTIONS you have. Remember use Cornell Format! Turn everything in!
